Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao popularly known as NTR was born on 20th of May 1983 to N.Harikrishna and Shalini in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh state. NTR did his schooling at Vidyaranya (Hyderabad). NTR was highly influenced by his Grandfather LegendNTR from his childhood and developed interest in cultural and social activities. NTR learned Kuchipudi( famous South Indian Classical dance) during his school days and performed shows at various places both in India and abroad winning laurels and awards. As a child artiste NTR acted in his grandfather's film 'Brahmarshi Viswamithra' in the year 1993. Like Legend NTR who is the best in playing mythological roles, NTR played Lord Rama role in M.S. Reddy's Bala Ramayanam with an all-child cast released in 1997. NTR started his career in first movie as a hero was "Ninnu choodalani" released in the year 2001. It was produced by RamojiRao under Ushakiron movies banner. Written off by critics in his first film, NTR made a striking comeback with the film Student No.1 which was released after 4 months. The movie went on to become an instant hit with both classes and masses..later by the same year NTR acted in the movie subbu (2002), but it was failed to fulfill the audience.. However it was Aadi that catapulted him in to the big league. Suddenly the critics took notice of the wiry young man and opined that there are sparks of his grandfather in him.NTR in Aadi had stood as blockbuster of the year 2002. Aadi not only had created records, but also put him in the top league of actors. NTR's next big blockbuster Simhadri stabilized his status as the next mass hero of tollywood. In 2004, NTR released Andhrawala and Samba. NTR's movies Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu in 2005, Ashok (film) in 2006 were poor grossers. NTR's next movie Rakhi was directed by Pasupuleti Krishna Vamsi. NTR's next movie was Yamadonga where he appeared in Lord Yama role. Junior NTR's next film was Kantri, which was released on May 2008. Adhurs was released in January 2010, in which NTR played a dual role. NTR's film Brindavanam was released on 14 Oct, 2010. And at present his most expensive film Shakthi has released worldwide on 1 April 2011. Junior NTR is supposed to appear in three roles in this movie. NTR will appear as king named Rudra, as Shakthi and as a security officer. This film will be released in Telugu and Tamil versions at once in a huge number of theaters. On the other hand producer of this movie, Aswinidutt, announced that he is planning to do a sequel for Shakthi. NTR's latest projects were Ooservilli which was pre production Junior NTR's next movie is with Boyapati Seenu. This movie was launched on February 18, 2011.Titles like Churakatti and Dhammu are under consideration. Junior NTR was one of the campaigners for the Telugu Desam Party, for the Indian general election, 2009 from April to May 2009.

Young tiger Junior NTR, who is busy with the handful of projects, is also signed another brand. Junior NTRis going to be the brand ambassador in AP for Malabar Gold, the leading Jeweler showroom. This was annonced by Jr NTR in a press meet held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Kakaitya in Hyderabad. Junior NTRis already the brand ambassador of the products like Zandu Balm and Navaratna talc, now this is the new brand for NTR. Junior NTR is signed a two-year contract for Malabar Gold, to promote their brand. During the press meet on Sunday Junior NTR said that “Though brand endorsing is a puzzle for me, I am proud to be associated with Malabar Gold. Trust is the key factor in endorsing a brand and I trust Malabar Gold,”. NTR also said that “People may feel that I am too young to endorse a jeweler brand. But, I am getting married in a few days so I am keen to learn more about gold”. We all know that Nagarjuna is the brand ambassador for Kalyan Jewellers and Venkatesh is the brand ambassador for Mannapuram Gold. Now Junior NTR is for Malabar Gold.
